Cruise back to the splendid Piazza San Marco for a walking tour, with a visit to the Doge’s Palace. The rest of the day is yours to explore and dine independently.
Day 3:Bologna & Florence
Travel to historic Bologna, a culinary haven known as “La Grassa” (The Fat One). With medieval architecture, the iconic Two Towers, and the oldest university in the Western world, Bologna offers a rich blend of history, culture, and exceptional cuisine. You’ll have free time for an independent lunch before moving on to your hotel in Florence’s city center. In Florence, take an orientation walk with your tour director and then savor time to discover this magnificent city, the capital of Tuscany and the birthplace of Renaissance art and architecture. Enjoy dinner with your group.
Day 4:Florence Walking Tour & The Accademia Gallery
Take a walking tour of Florence and marvel at the sights of the city center such as the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria. Visit the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s iconic sculpture of David. Savor a local lunch in the heart of Florence. After lunch you’ll have the rest of the day to explore the city at your leisure.
Day 5: Orvieto & Roman Colosseum
You’re off to the Eternal City – Rome. Along the way, stop in the scenic hill town of Orvieto for a delicious tasting of its renowned local wine. Visit the Colosseum, imperial Rome’s iconic structure, built between 72 and 80 AD. This engineering marvel could hold up to 80,000 spectators for gladiator battles and dramatic productions. Imagine the ghosts of the Caesars in the ruins of the Forum, the ancient heart of the Roman Empire. Enjoy a free evening.
Day 6: Independent Exploration & Vatican Tour
Discover Rome independently this morning, with free time to explore. In the afternoon, visit the Vatican to see the awe-inspiring cultural heritage of the world’s smallest sovereign state. Take a guided tour of the Museums, see Michelangelo’s masterpieces in the Sistine Chapel, and walk through St Peter’s Basilica. Then it’s off to dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 1: Reykjavik Arrival & City Tour
Your tour departs from your hotel at 2:00PM for a panoramic tour of Reykjavik, to see the capital city’s charming architecture and beautiful, brightly colored rooftops. See the striking Hallsgrimskirkja church and the Harpa concert hall. Return to your hotel for a welcome drink and canapés with your group. followed by free time for independent dining.
Day 2:Golden Circle & Friðheimar Tomato Farm
Begin your journey on the famed Golden Circle, starting with the spectacular Þingvellir National Park, a meeting place of old Icelandic clans. It is also where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet above ground. Journey to the Secret Lagoon: smaller and more intimate than the Blue Lagoon, it’s where savvy travelers go to enjoy the Icelandic spa experience. Don’t forget your swimsuit! Savor lunch in the greenhouse of Friðheimar Tomato Farm. Then it’s on to the Strokkur geyser, which erupts every 10 minutes. Stop at Gullfoss Waterfall, one of Iceland’s most popular sights; with two separate drops, it’s one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Day 3:LAVA Center, Skógafoss Waterfall, Skógar Folk Museum & Black Sand Beach
Visit the LAVA Center to learn about Iceland’s volcanoes, and how their eruptions and lava flows have shaped the country over time. Visit the nearby Skógafoss Waterfall, where on sunny days a double rainbow is often visible. Then tour Skógar Folk Museum to explore Iceland’s cultural heritage and learn about the lives of Iceland’s early settlers through an array of tools, books, and handicrafts. Day 4: Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach & Skaftafell Wilderness Area
Visit the Skaftafell Wilderness Area and see glaciers, waterfalls, a snow-capped volcano and lava fields. Take in the expansive view during lunch at the Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon. Visit the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where bright blue and white icebergs dot the waters. At nearby Diamond Beach, marvel at glistening natural ice sculptures on the black sands. Day 5: Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Reykjavík & The Blue Lagoon
Journey to the beautiful Seljalandsfoss Waterfall where, weather permitting, the sure-footed can walk the trail behind the 60-meter falls. Travel back to Reykjavík and spend the afternoon independently exploring the city. In the evening, visit the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa in a man-made lake surrounded by lava fields; relax in the mineral-rich waters before a farewell dinner with your group.

Enjoy the morning exploring Dublin with the included vouchers. At 2:00 PM, depart from your hotel for a panoramic view of Dublin. Drive through the lively streets with a local guide, seeing this historic city’s highlights. Return to your hotel for a welcome drink with your group, then on to the Merry Ploughboy Pub for a dinner of Irish specialties and a lively show with traditional music and step-dancing.
Day 3: BLARNEY CASTLE & KILLARNEY
Travel through lush green countryside on your way to Blarney Castle. Along the way, stop for photos of the stately ruins of the Rock of Cashel on their hilltop perch. At Blarney, climb the winding staircase to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone and gain the gift of the gab, or wander the beautiful gardens. Arrive in the friendly, lakeside town of Killarney, where you’ll dine at your hotel this evening.
Day 4: RING OF KERRY, SKELLIG EXPERIENCE & SHEEPDOG DEMONSTRATION
The winding, 100-mile route reveals breathtaking coastal and mountain views, with plenty of photo stops. Pause for a casual lunch in a cozy restaurant. Visit a farm to see a demonstration of skilled dogs herding sheep. Return to Killarney and enjoy a free evening to dine and discover the pubs as you wish.
Day 5: CLIFFS OF MOHER & MEDIEVAL CASTLE BANQUET
Take a ferry across the River Shannon, then drive along the coast of County Clare to the Cliffs of Moher, a spectacular wall of sandstone soaring almost 700 feet above the Atlantic. Continue on to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a medieval-style feast of traditional Irish fare at a castle. Lords and ladies will serenade you with songs and harp music evocative of medieval times.
